Adult Art Workshops

A chance to play, experiment, and reconnect with your creativity. These workshops are designed to give your inner child the space to breathe, explore, and create without pressure or expectations. Whether you're looking for a unique way to spend an afternoon, a mindful break from everyday life, or simply the joy of making something with your own hands, you'll find a welcoming and inspiring environment here.

Looking for a fresh way to celebrate, connect, and have fun? Why not treat yourself to a creative experience? Join as an individual and meet like-minded people, or book a private group session with friends, family, or colleagues. Each workshop offers the chance to learn something new, share a few laughs, and leave with a handmade piece you'll be proud of.

From pouring Jesmonite into moulds to create bespoke plant pots to immersing yourself in the colourful world of bubble art, every workshop has its own unique theme and creative focus. All materials and refreshments are provided, so all you need to bring is your curiosity. Workshops run regularly throughout the year and can also be tailored to suit private groups and special occasions.

Why choose these workshops?

These are not quick craft sessions with basic materials and simple outcomes. Saskia's workshops are carefully designed creative experiences that balance enjoyment with genuine skill-building. Using professional-grade materials and thoughtfully planned projects, participants are guided through ambitious makes that deliver impressive results, regardless of previous experience.

Drawing on years of teaching and creative practice, Saskia breaks down techniques into manageable steps, helping everyone feel confident throughout the process. Small group sizes ensure that each participant receives individual attention, encouragement, and support, creating a relaxed atmosphere where creativity can flourish.

All are welcome

Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to creativity after years away, or looking to add a new technique to your artistic skill set, these workshops are designed with you in mind. No prior experience is necessary.

Alongside running her own creative practice, Saskia teaches on the BA 3D Design and Craft course at University of Brighton. Her teaching experience, combined with years of supporting neurodivergent and dyslexic artists, has helped her develop an inclusive, flexible approach that meets people where they are. Workshops are designed to be welcoming, supportive, and free from judgement, with clear guidance and plenty of encouragement throughout.

Saskia's patient approach helps remove the fear of ‘getting it wrong’, allowing you to focus on enjoying the process. In a relaxed small-group setting, you'll learn at your own pace, ask questions freely, and discover that creativity is far more accessible than you might think.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, background, ability, or previous creative experience. The emphasis is on exploration, enjoyment, and building confidence, creating a space where participants feel comfortable experimenting, learning new skills, and expressing themselves creatively.

More than a class

These workshops are about much more than learning a technique or completing a project. They are an opportunity to slow down, switch off from daily demands, and spend time immersed in something enjoyable and rewarding.

Many participants leave with more than a finished piece of artwork—they leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and connected. Whether you're attending alone and meeting new people, sharing the experience with friends, or celebrating a special occasion, each workshop creates space for conversation, laughter, creativity, and memorable experiences.

The focus is on process as much as outcome: enjoying the act of making, embracing experimentation, and rediscovering the satisfaction that comes from creating something unique with your own hands.
