They may look real but SURPRISE!! They are not!
Make beautiful tree ornaments . You will leave with 3 unique alternatives to plastic baubles that you have cast from Jesmonite . Choose from a wide selection of bright colours to create truly personalised and one-of-a-kind decorations.
What you’ll do in the workshop:
Be shown step by step how to use jesmonite - a versatile eco resin- and work with moulds. Our experienced art tutor will share tips and tricks to help you make three eye catching items to hang on a Christmas tree .
You will may choose to hand embellish part of the decorations with pattern, colour or even amazing gold leaf!
You will be taught how to mix, pour and finish your wonderful creations to a professional level.
This class is suitable for complete beginners. There will be lots of examples available for inspiration and the art tutor is there to give you guidance and support.
A small group (5 people max) allows for individual support and a warm friendly atmosphere. Taught by a professional with years of experience in industry and at university. All materials are provided.
You will leave with:
3 unique tree decorations that you have made and decorated yourself
a feeling of joy
Workshops are held at StudioG, near Five Ways, Brighton.
Accessibility info: Please note the studio is accessed across gravel and up one step. Access to the toilet is via two flights of stairs.
